IDEEA Group supported the AIIB in the use of natural capital accounting and ecosystem services valuation to facilitate the identification of sustainable investment opportunities in a site in Inner Mongolia. This was predominantly focussed on nature-based solutions projects that can support investments in grey infrastructure. The approach was based on compiling data on natural capital variables in the study site and undertaking a risk assessment and scenario analyses in order to inform the identification of investment opportunities.
